Report

Rotherham Stars won the National Rounders Association (England) South Yorkshire Cup Final in 2005 defeating Christ Church 31.5 to 30. Christ Church went into bat first, Jodie Snelson scoring 19.5 rounders on her own, leaving Christ Church with a total score of 23 after the first innings. Rotherham Stars could only reply with 9 rounders. Rotherham made a brilliant turnaround, scoring 22.5 rounders on their second innings, before Christ Church came in to bat their second innings, needing only 9 rounders to win the game. Great bowling by Sarah Hobson and an unbelievable catch by Laura Booth, meant Rotherham Stars had an incredible turnaround to win the match 31.5 to 30.
