Hurling-Shinty

Hurling-Shinty is the original Compromise Rules, first played in 1897 between a Scottish Shinty team and an Irish Hurling team. It is 14-a-side – almost halfway between Shinty’s 12-a-side and Hurling’s 15-a-side.
