GAA Internationals
Internationals have been played in the GAA since the first trips to New York in the early 20th Century. From 1924 to 1932 Ireland played the United States at the Tailteann Games. The 1947 All-Ireland Final was played in New York, and from the 1950s onwards, Internationals were played between the All-Ireland or National League Champions and New York or Australasia. More recently there has been Internationals between World Countries, such as Italy v France or Galicia v France.
